At times our normal carpet cleaning process is all that is needed to remove the odor from your carpet. However if the urine has soaked through, it may have contaminated the carpet padding and even subfloor. If this is the case the problem has become multi-layered which will require additional steps to resolve.
Inspection
If you are fortunate enough to be there when your pet has an “oops” you may be able to eliminate the problem yourself. (See our stain removal chart) But if it is a chronic problem and urine has soaked through the multiple layers of carpet and pad we will use a special ultraviolet light to determine where the contamination is.
Sub Surface Extraction
After the problem areas have been identified we will flood the area with a special neutralizer. The affected area is then rinsed using a sub-surface extraction tool effectively removing the contamination.
